Who, what and why
Point of Difference (PoD) is a project of passion for Melissa Davies.
Melissa has an established career in Strategy, Sales and Marketing however during her time working with many large organisations, she has grown dissatisfied with the lack of business accessories that reflect people's own style and values, and that are not mass produced from plastics or animal products.
Melissa says:
"In today’s business environment there is a sea of black and grey textiles and products. Many products such as laptop bags, folios, ipad covers, business card holders are often mass produced and made in large manufacturing facilities with operating procedures that are focused on maximum productivity not on the environment nor developing communities. I want to change this and offer ethical business accessories, and I believe many other people value the same things I do and would love to have a more ethical option."
So, in 2012 Point of Difference was launched.
